Before completing your purchase, please review our Terms and Conditions outlined below.

By proceeding with payment to DIY Garage Doors LTD, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of these terms establishes that DIY Garage Doors LTD is accountable only for the conditions explicitly stated below and not for any matters beyond these terms.

Terms and Conditions – Made-to-Measure Roller Garage Doors

1. General
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made from DIY Garage Doors LTD for made-to-measure roller garage doors. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

1.2 Made-to-measure products are custom-manufactured based on the specifications provided by the customer. As such, they are exempt from standard return and cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

2. Customer Responsibilities
2.1 Customers must ensure that all measurements, specifications, and details provided at the time of order are accurate. DIY Garage Doors LTD is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

2.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the product is suitable for their property, including checking installation requirements, having an understanding of fitting types (such as Behind Fit vs In Between Fit) and any applicable planning regulations that should occur with the property. 

2.3 Upon delivery, customers must inspect the product for any visible damage or discrepancies. Any issues must be reported to DIY Garage Doors LTD within 48 hours of receipt.

3. Order Processing and Manufacturing
3.1 All orders are confirmed only upon full payment and manufacturing begins upon receipt of funds to DIY Garage Doors LTD. Once manufacturing has commenced, the order cannot be amended or cancelled unless DIY Garage Doors LTD agrees in writing.

3.2 Estimated lead times are provided as guidance only and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as supply chain delays.

3.3 If a manufacturing error occurs that is attributable to DIY Garage Doors LTD, we will rectify the issue at no additional cost to the customer.

4. Delivery and Risk
4.1 Delivery dates are estimates and may be subject to change. DIY Garage Doors LTD will not be liable for delays beyond our control.

4.2 Risk of damage or loss transfers to the customer upon delivery. Customers should ensure they have appropriate storage and handling measures in place. Customers must be aware that an order will only be delivered if the customer is present during a delivery. We cannot leave an order in a safe place or neighbours house. Customers must also be aware they may need to assist the driver depending on the size of the roller garage door that is being delivered.

4.3 DIY Garage Doors LTD cannot be held responsible for any damage to the customer's property upon installation of our products including damage to timber, joist, fascia, brick work, lintel or any other part of the customer's garage or property.

5. Warranty and Defects
5.1 DIY Garage Doors LTD guarantees that the product will be free from material defects under normal use for a period specified in the product warranty.

5.2 If a product is found to be faulty or does not match the agreed specifications, customers must notify DIY Garage Doors LTD within 48 hours, and we will arrange for repair or replacement part to be sent to you.

5.3 The warranty does not cover damage resulting from incorrect installation, improper use, or lack of maintenance of the roller garage door. 

5.4 All colours are for reference purpose only, we have matched the colours to the best of our ability, but colours may vary from the product received. Colour samples are available on request.

5.5 All electrical works must be carried out by a qualified professional. DIY Garage Doors LTD cannot be held responsible for any damage to the property or product due to improper electrical installation.

6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 DIY Garage Doors LTD’s liability is limited to the repairer replacement of the affected product and does not extend to any consequential or incidental damages.

6.2 We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party installers, customer-provided measurements, or external factors beyond our control.

7. Governing Law
7.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
